Intro
Math is unique because every new topic depends on previous understanding. When a student misses an important concept, sometimes years earlier, that gap quietly grows until current coursework becomes needlessly slow, frustrating, and confusing. One of the first things I do is identify those missing foundations so students can rapidly make sense of what they're learning today.
Math is often the subject where gaps quietly build over time. Once foundations get shaky, future learning becomes harder, leading to frustration and loss of confidence. Thankfully, with the right support, these weak points can be identified and remedied quickly and in a long-lasting way.

Yes. I work with students from 6th grade through college, adapting every session to the student's current course, goals, and learning style. Do you focus on homework help or long-term understanding?
Both. Homework provides an opportunity to practice current material, but I also use it to identify underlying concepts that may be missing. My goal isn't simply to finish assignments; it's to help students understand why the math works so they become more independent and need less support over time. My ability to expertly identify and remedy knowledge gaps in minutes allows us to tackle both simultaneously.

Yes. I offer in-person tutoring throughout San Francisco and Marin County, as well as online sessions for students throughout California and beyond. During a free consultation, we can discuss which format will best fit your student's schedule and learning preferences.
Do you do college level math?
